Our Vision: An Inclusive Transformation for All

With our “Future in Every Move” approach and our genuine commitment, we are progressing with determination to sustain our global leadership in the field of sustainability throughout our 2030 journey. Guided by our sustainability vision, we aim to reduce our carbon footprint through practices that leave no one behind and set an example for society through collective action.

This vision forms the foundation of our response to global challenges such as climate change, resource scarcity, social inequality and digitalization. To address these challenges simultaneously, we adopt a triple transformation model. Through decarbonization, we fulfill our environmental responsibility; through digitalization, we enhance efficiency and transparency; and through cultural and social transformation, we place people at the center of this journey.

The strength of our strategy lies in our commitment to going beyond compliance. We advance with data-driven decision processes and a mindset that turns risks into opportunities. Moving forward not only for today’s needs but also future generations, we are steadily progressing toward our 2050 net-zero target.

Foundations of Our Sustainability Strategy

Sustainability is among Brisa’s strategic priorities and shapes all our business processes.

Our strategy is built upon three main pillars:

  • Transition to a Low-Carbon Economy: We develop concrete solutions against climate change through energy efficiency, renewable energy investments and emission reduction projects.
  • Low-Contact Economy: By leveraging digitalization, process optimization and efficient resource use, we create a more agile and resilient business model.
  • Cultural and Social Transformation: We place people at the core of transformation with practices that support diversity, inclusion and social well-being.

These pillars are supported by three strong enablers:

  • Beyond Compliance: A business approach that exceeds legal requirements and creates societal value.
  • Beyond Borders A responsibility culture that encompasses our entire value chain, from dealers to suppliers.
  • Data-Driven Management: A discipline of data collection and reporting sustained for more than 20 years.

Our Governance Structure

We manage our sustainability journey with strong corporate governance. The Sustainability Committee, chaired by our CEO, reports directly to the Board of Directors. Supported by 13 thematic Task Forces and a team of 75 members, the committee conducts annual workshops, evaluates risks and develops strategic action plans.

Our Priority Topics

For us, sustainability means managing three dimensions in a balanced way:

  • Environmental dimension: Efficient use of natural resources, reducing emissions to combat climate change and implementing circular economy practices. Environmental sustainability is the key to protecting not only today but also future generations.
  • Social dimension: Enhancing the well-being of our employees, dealers and society by embracing diversity, equity and inclusion. Social sustainability places people at the heart of long-term success.
  • Economic dimension: Ensuring not only profitability but also ethical business conduct, fair governance and long-term value creation—critical for investor confidence and meeting stakeholder expectations.

As Brisa, we take concrete steps across all these areas. With our decarbonization roadmap, we aim to reduce our emissions by 56% by 2030. Our solar power plant in the Aksaray factory supplies part of our electricity demand, while heat pump investments reduce natural gas consumption. Through our Green Dealer Program, we engage our dealers in sustainability transformation, and we support our projects with 100 million USD in sustainability-focused financing.

Reporting and Transparency

As a reflection of our transparency and accountability culture, we have been regularly recording our carbon data since 2005 and water data since 2008. With the sustainability reports we have published since 2012, we share our performance with our stakeholders. As the only tire company globally listed in CDP’s Climate Change, Water Security and Supplier Engagement categories with an “A” rating, we demonstrate our leadership in this field.

Our Journey Ahead

We are committed to advancing our roadmap to achieve our 2050 net-zero target. By 2030, we plan to reduce our emissions by more than half and source 100% of our electricity from renewable energy.

Brisa works with 2,500 global and local suppliers. We are reshaping our supplier relations with practices that reduce carbon emissions, support circular economy and local production, and ensure respect for human rights and occupational safety. We know that more than two-thirds of our Scope 3 emissions come from purchased goods and services. We have committed that suppliers representing 79% of emissions in this category will set science-based targets by 2028.

As one of the companies with the widest dealer network in Türkiye, we run the Green Dealer Program. Through this program, we measure the environmental and social impacts of our dealers and support improvements in areas such as energy and water efficiency, waste management and women’s employment. Our goal is for each dealer to have at least one Green Dealer branch by 2030. In this way, we extend sustainability not only within our own operations but across every link of our value chain.

We are also developing AI-powered insights for energy efficiency and conducting biodiversity studies aligned with SBTN and TNFD standards. In every step toward the future, we place the well-being of both the planet and society at the center of our movement.
