The Company's cycling team, Brisaspor, was originally established under the name Lassaspor in 1982. The first steps were taken in summer 1978 when the Company initiated a summer camp within the line of Company policy "to provide opportunities for children and youth in Ýzmit area to practice sports". 12 young people chosen through the summer camp activities have formed the first core cyclists of the team. Lassaspor Cycling Team achieved the Turkey 's National Champion title in 1983 and series of successful results for years while the team was consistently supported and strengthened by the newcomers from the team substructure.

As Brisaspor A-Team started to compete in international races, to ensure further success more importance was given to work among youth, in other words, future cyclists in 1997. In cooperation with secondary schools in the region, 268 sporting students have joined summer camps between 1997-2004, and after selections two "star" teams were established, comprising 36 youth. Those who were successful took place in Brisaspor Junior Team .

The 9-person Junior team, all trained as cyclists by Brisaspor, reached the second place in National Championship in 1999, and became Turkey 's National Champion in the years 2000 and 2001. Brisaspor A-team, also comprising 9 cyclists, achieved the second place in National Championship in 1998, and they became Turkey 's National Champion in the years 1999 and 2000.
